Golf Video of the Week : New meaning for the term ‘One-in-a-Million’

What a perfect fit for the golf video of the week. A hole in one, with a 1 million dollar prize…

The event was the Mark Eaton (form NBA Utah Jazz basketball player who until this video was known to me only for getting dunked on by Michael Jordan ) Celebrity Golf Classic, at Red Ledges (Jack Nicklaus designed course).

Jason Hargett of Provost Utah was the lucky winner who apparently (my source is the Ellen TV show) borrowed  a 9 iron from his friend to take the shot. According to the video below he’s a bartender (in Utah? But I thought drinking in Utah was a big no no?) so I doubt he’ll be heading to work for a little while. Other than the shot my favourite part of this video is how quickly Mark Eaton seized the moment as a marketing opportunity and posted a well edited video with voiceover and all promoting 7foot4.com his after the NBA business website.

    I wonder if this is fake since the ball actually leaves the screen for a minute? Could it be a hoax? Amazing if its real, amazing if its a fake…
